Volunteer Guidelines and Needs
Volunteering at Rankin is a wonderful thing that you can do for your children, yourself, and your community. Volunteers are needed for many different weekly and periodic opportunities including assisting with Multicultural Festival, Book Fair, activity partners, proctoring, classroom and grade level representatives, reading and lunch buddies, and tutoring to name a few.
GCS requires that all volunteers who come in contact with students complete a Volunteer Services Application (even if you are not a PTA member). Application forms can be found online at the school system's website under Connect with GCS.
The application takes a few minutes to complete and is valid for up to three schools.
Please contact the Parent Volunteer Coordinator, Crystal Black at blackc@gcsnc.com, if you would like more information on donating your time at Rankin Elementary.List of Volunteer Options....
