I use Class Dojo to keep up with my classroom management. If a student is doing what they should be doing, participating in class, helping others, etc. they will earn a Class Dojo point under a certain category. If a student is off task they will first receive a verbal warning, if they continue to be off task then they will move their seat. If the student is still not doing what they need to, they will lose a class dojo point; they will have a chance to earn it back. If the behavior continues, it will lead to a phone call or a referral to the office if it is a major problem. Students will go to the prize box every other week. They will be given their points via dojo money, I have numerous boxes with different prizes in each for students to work up to.

With class dojo the parents are allowed to see what point are taken or earned during the school day. It is also a way for parents to contact me with any questions of concerns you may have. If you need the code for your child please send me a note with an updated phone number.
