• Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Mrs. Quick and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher.  I am married with three sons and 5 grandchildren.  My older two sons are Army Veterans and my youngest son is  a senior at Clemson University.  I am excited about working with your little ones.  I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Christian Counseling, both at Liberty University.  Becoming a teacher has always been a passion of mine.

I am so excited and looking forward to getting to know you and your child throughout the coming year, which surely promises to bring with it many new experiences and challenges.  In order to make the year a successful one, teamwork and cooperation will be required by all.  As your children enter into kindergarten, they are going to learn a lot of different things.

As your child's teacher, you and I are responsible for teaching your child the importance of education.  I want to be able to provide my students with what they need to grow academically, emotionally, morally and spiritually.  In hopes that they step out into the future as a successful individual.  I believe that every child has the potential to sway something unique and special into the world.  We are a team, and if we work as a team, we can help your child achieve their goals.

Together we can help your child achieve their academic goals this year.  I believe that all my students are capable of making tremendous growth.  Together we can do this!  I believe that all children should experience a positive learning environment where their individual needs are met, their interests are fed, and their learning styles are enhanced.  I believe that through individual as well as group activities.  I can encourage my students to grow in their self-esteem, independence, cultural identity, and knowledge of the world and environment around them.
