MUSIC CLASS GRADING SCALE

Students are graded on:

skill development (assessment of a targeted skill/activity)

performance (participation, effort, time on task)

assessment (written, oral or aural work) 

musicianship (behavior/reaction before, during and after activity)

Students will receive:

4- consistently demonstrated ALL of the time

3- consistently demonstrated MOST of the time

2- lack of consistency, demonstrated SOME of the time

1- minimal consistency, not demonstrated
