Dear SCALE Greensboro Academy Community,

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of purpose that I welcome you to SCALE Greensboro Academy. Our school is a place where students are inspired to excel academically, socially, and emotionally. At SCALE, we strive to cultivate a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and lifelong learning.

Through the dedication of our talented educators, staff, and community partners, we ensure that every student feels valued, motivated, and prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Professionally, I have worked as a juvenile court counselor, school social worker and school administrator for over 30 years. In my years of experience, I have served on the elementary, middle and high school level as an educator. I am dedicated to collaborating with staff to educate the whole child using the holistic and village approach.

I am a proud graduate from NC. A&T State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. I received my principal’s licensure through the Piedmont Triad Leadership Academy (PTLA) in partnership with the University of NC. @ Greensboro in 2013. In 2022, I completed the Guilford Aspiring Leaders Academy (GALA), a leadership program to prepare African American male assistant principals for the principalship.

I am a proud life member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Through my fraternity and role as an educator, I have served as a mentor and father figure to many students in Guilford County. Personally, family time is important to me. I enjoy spending time with my family and serving the community.

 I am fortunate to be a part of the SCALE Greensboro Academy community. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education.
