My name is Mrs. Castor and I am excited to be your kindergarten teacher this year! This is my second year teaching at Irving Park Elementary.  Previously, I worked in Chapel Hill and Wake County.  I have been teaching for eight years and six of those years have been in kindergarten.

I absolutely LOVE teaching kindergarten because of all the new, fun and exciting things we get to learn together. This year you are going to learn how to be a reader, mathematician, scientist, and citizen. We are going to go on field trips, experience learning outdoors, become gardeners, just to name a few!
