Hello and welcome to my class website!  I am so excited for this school year and building relationships with my students and their families.  I can't wait to see the growth in my students this year. 

I was raised in South Carolina near Myrtle Beach. I love going to the beach and my family and I try to take a beach vacation every summer.  I graduated in 2008 from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. My family relocated to Texas and we lived there for 8 years.  We moved to Greensboro in 2015.  When my I children began attending Simkins, I was very involved with the PTA and volunteered a lot in my children's classroom.  I then became a teacher assistant in kindergarten and have now transitioned into teacher. 

I love spending time with my family. I  have 3 children. My daughter attends Southeast Middle School and my sons are at Simkins.  They are involved in Taekwondo, piano/voice lessons, and baseball so we are always on the go.
