    September 18, 2023- The Spirit color of the day is GREEN

    Teachers, please allow your students to make nametags to wear on Monday.

    Encourage students to learn one another’s names and greet each other with unique Hello Styles.

    Create a non-verbal unique handshake, fist/elbow/foot bump (unique to your class)

    Create a Hello board that will represent every language in the school/classroom.

    September 19, 2023- The spirit color of the day is Shades of BLUE

    Play uplifting empowering music in the cafeteria during lunch and arrival. Encourage students that don’t normally sit together to sit with a new friend. 

    Teachers try to create a classroom saying HELLO video in different languages and using unique handshakes.  (Record with your cell phones to share with Dr. Taylor and I).

    Support staff will create a school-wide Hello video of classrooms saying HELLO in different languages and the classrooms who have unique handshakes.

     

    September 20, 2023- The spirit color of the day is RED

    Play uplifting, empowering music in the cafeteria during lunch and arrival. Encourage students that don’t normally sit together to sit with a new friend. 

    Teachers continue to create a classroom saying HELLO video in different languages and using unique handshakes.  (Record with your cell phones to share with Dr. Taylor and I)

    September 21, 2023- The spirit color of the day is YELLOW

    Give a compliment or kindness note to a colleague to promote connection and empowerment.

    Students can give a compliment or kindness note to a staff members, teachers and new friend.

    September 22, 2023- The spirit color of the day is Warrior Blue and Red

    Students and staff will wear any combination of the school colors or gear to show school unity and friendship.

    Weekend music will be played during student arrival and during lunch

    Dr. Taylor will give bragging rights to the classroom with the most unique handshake, fist bump or elbow bump.
