A variety of testing takes place here at the EMC at GTCC-Jamestown.  Just a few are listed below.

• Every year, 9th, 10th, & 11th grade students take the PSAT/NMSQT in the Fall: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt
• 10th graders will also take the Pre-ACT in the Fall: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/preact.html
• 11th Graders will take the ACT in the Spring: https://www.act.org/content/act/en.html
• A few students who have completed a CTE pathway may take the ACT Work-Keys if applicable: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/act-workkeys/act-workkeys-assessments.html

At the end of each semester, students will take a state End Of Course exam or a Guilford County Schools Final Exam worth 20% of their final average.

• EOC's are in Math 1, Math 3, English 2, and Biology
• GCSFE's are in English 1, English 3, English 4, Chemistry, Physical Science, Earth/Environmental Science, Math 2, Math 4, PreCalculus, and in all Social Studies classes (World History, Civics and Economics Literacy, American History, Economics and Personal Finance).
• Teacher-Made exams are in Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Calculus, Creative Writing, and other elective courses.
