K-5 Adapted Curriculum

Adapted Curriculum students participate in the Extended Content Standard course of study. This course of study was developed based on the grade level standards of NC Standard Course of Study with additional emphasis on functional skills and objectives.

One of the many tools that we use in our classroom is the Unique Learning System (ULS). The Unique Learning System is a standards based curriculum specifically designed so that students with special needs can access the general education curriculum.
