Welcome to Andrews Automotive Service Technology

My name is Mr. Mitchell, and I have the privilege of serving as the Automotive Instructor at Andrews High School. With over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my teaching. For the past 9 years, I have dedicated myself to educating the next generation of automotive professionals here at Andrews.

I am proud to hold certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in several critical areas, including electrical systems, brakes, steering and suspension, as well as automotive maintenance and repair. These certifications reflect my commitment to maintaining high standards in both my professional practice and my instructional methods.

My primary objective is to equip students with essential skills and techniques that will enable them to diagnose and repair common issues encountered in passenger cars and light-duty trucks. I believe that a solid foundation in these basic techniques is crucial for any aspiring automotive technician, and I strive to create a learning environment that fosters both understanding and confidence in practical applications.
