Media Center Policies

Morning and Afternoon Circulation

Students may check out books from 3:00 until 3:45 everyday.

Students may check out up to 2 media center books at a time.

Books can be renewed if not on hold

Students may check out 2 Destiny eBooks at a time.

Students are responsible for the loss or damage to items checked out to them.

Overdue lists will be sent to teachers quarterly. Overdue notices will be sent home with report cards.

I am thrilled to start another year at Kernodle! This is my 18th year in Education. For the first twelve years of my career, I taught high school English classes, and for the past six years, I have been a media specialist. I have a B.A. in English from Meredith College, a M.A. in English from UNCW, and a M.L.S in Library Science from Appalachian State University, along with National Board Certification. I enjoy reading nonfiction and mysteries.
