Welcome to third grade at Guilford Elementary School!  My name is Melisa Saliga, and I am very excited to have your child in my class this year!  I feel that we all must work together to ensure that your child has every opportunity for success.  This is my 24th year teaching and my 3rd year here at Guilford.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and my four lovely children.  My oldest daughter lives is UNC Charlotte graduate and lives in Charlotte,  my second oldest is a Junior at NC State, my youngest daughter is a Freshman at UNCG and my son is a Sophomore at Northwest Guilford High School.  I enjoy reading and watching TV.  I am also a huge Carolina Hurricane hockey fan.  If there is a game on, I will be watching!
