    I have been teaching at Weaver Academy since the fall of 2004, the first year of the orchestral strings program at the school.  Please see my bio under AP Music Theory Content. 

    As a member of the performing and visual arts (PVA) faculty at Weaver I've taught the following courses:

    * Orchestral Strings

    * Basic Musicianship

    * Music History

    * Jazz Performance 

    * AP Music Theory

    My schedule for the 2021-2022 school year is listed below:

    1st Block (9:15-10:45AM) - Planning

    2nd Block (10:50AM-12:20PM) - Intermediate Strings (9th grade)/Honors Strings Proficient (10th grade), Honors Strings Advanced (11th and 12th grades), 

    3rd Block (1:10-2:40PM) - Honors Music Theory (fall), AP Music Theory (spring)

    4th Block (2:45-4:15PM) - Honors Music Theory (fall), AP Music Theory (spring)

  • Three Weaver String Students Selected to Participate in 2022 NC Honors Orchestra!

    Please congratulate Weaver juniors Kiera Lee, Mora Rutty, and Xul Rutty on their selection to play in the North Carolina Honors Orchestra. The clinic will take place the weekend of November 4th through 6th culminating in a performance at Stevens Center in downtown Winston-Salem on Sunday, November 6th at 4:30PM. The NCHO concert is free and open to the public and is always fantastic so come out and show your support!
