Greetings Montlieu Families! I am Oneeka Lockhart, your Proud Principal. I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve you and the community in this capacity. I have been in education for 25 years, and began my teaching experience in Lexington, NC. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from High Point University and a Master of Arts Degree in Executive Educational Leadership from Gardner Webb University. I began my career as a Teacher’s Assistant, Elementary Teacher, Curriculum Facilitator, Assistant Principal and now Principal. I also have two wonderful daughters, Aleigha and Miyah.

Quality educational opportunities and experiences at Montlieu are key. We are a true family that values building relationships with scholars and families and fostering a genuine love of learning in each student.
