Mr. Freeman

Greetings Tiger Family 

I am Mr. Freeman, and welcome to my page.  This school year I will be serving in the role of 6th Grade Counselor.  I am a double graduate of the historical North Carolina A&T State University (AGGIE PRIDE)!  I earned a Bachelor's in Social Work and a Master of Science Degree in School Counseling. This will be my 3rd year here at Jamestown Middle School (JMS). As a school counselor, I have worked with students at the elementary, middle, and high school level.  Professionally, before working in education, I worked with children and adults with cognitive and physical disabilities. 

Middle school is an exciting time for students to start discovering their interests and start planning for their high school goals.  A solid education is one of life’s BIGGEST advantages.  My hope for ALL students here at JMS is for them to have equal access to a solid education. While in middle school, students will also start to grow socially and emotionally. My work includes being a support for students, parents/guardians, and staff both educationally and socially/emotionally.
