Ms. Jenifer Vega, 6th Grade Assistant Principal

Greetings Viking Families! It is an honor to be back in Viking Land and serve as the residential Assistant Principal for our 8^th Grade team. I began my career as a science teacher, and even served 2 years with our Allen families before moving to Charlotte and starting my transition into school leadership. I am part of a first generation family from Colombia, South America and am bilingual in English and Spanish. I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for Education. I am excited to work with all of our families through this unconventional year with collaboration and support to ensure success for all of our students. ¡Saludos familias vikingas! Es un honor estar de regreso en Tierra Vikinga y servir como subdirector residencial de nuestro equipo de octavo grado. Comencé mi carrera como maestra de ciencias e incluso serví 2 años con nuestras familias de Allen antes de mudarme a Charlotte y comenzar mi transición hacia el liderazgo escolar. Soy parte de una familia de primera generación de Colombia, Sudamérica y soy bilingüe en inglés y español. Crecí en Winston-Salem, NC y asistí a la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Greensboro para la educación. Estoy emocionado de trabajar con todas nuestras familias durante este año poco convencional con colaboración y apoyo para asegurar el éxito de todos nuestros estudiantes.
