Tips for Parents and Students

    • Parents/guardians are encouraged always to bring the student to the hearing.
    • It is permissible and encouraged for parents/guardians/students to bring any relevant evidence they wish to present at the hearing.  This could include witnesses, written witness statements, or any other physical or documentary evidence.
    • It is imperative that the parent/guardian and/or student be present and on time for their hearing.  Hearings shall only be rescheduled if the parent/guardian and/or student can provide a compelling reason.
    • If you have any questions about the long term suspension hearing process you may contact the Hearing Office at 336-370-8154.
