Lori Lawrence

I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve the students, parents, and staff at Eastern Guilford Middle School as the 7^th grade Assistant Principal. This will be a great school year as we focus on engaging students and supporting their commitment to positive results.  You are invited to be an active participant in the EGMS Wildcats’ community.

A native of Durham, NC, I received my Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where I majored in Business Education. In the Fall of 1998 I began my career with GCS teaching CTE courses at Grimsley High School.  I entered the role of school administration after obtaining a Masters of School Administration from North Carolina Central University in 2006 as an Assistant Principal at Lexington Senior High School.  With great pleasure I returned to GCS and Eastern Middle in 2011.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading, listening to live music, attending Aggie athletic events, watching college/NBA basketball and participating in church and Sorority events supporting the Guilford County Community.
