Mrs. Rachel Holoman

I’ve been passionate about education for the past 17 years. I began my teaching journey in 2008 after earning my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from UNC Pembroke. Later, I pursued and completed my Master’s in School Administration at UNC-Chapel Hill.

My career started in the Alamance-Burlington School System (ABSS) at Eastlawn Elementary, where I taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Then transitioned into an intervention role, supporting 3rd–5th grade students in small group settings. In 2016, I joined Guilford County Schools as a Curriculum Facilitator at Washington Elementary School. After two years, I was honored to become the Assistant Principal at Sedgefield Elementary School in 2018. Since then, I’ve been proud to help build strong, meaningful relationships with our school families and staff.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, reading, and camping with my family. I'm a proud mom to two wonderful daughters who keep me on the go with their dance, cheerleading, and softball activities.
