Mrs. Morris

I am a dedicated educator and assistant principal with a strong background in leadership and communication. Committed to fostering the professional growth of teachers, enhancing the educational development of all students, and building strong community partnerships, I thrive in diverse school environments. A firm believer that all students can learn with adequate support, I am passionate about creating inclusive and effective learning experiences. It is my pleasure to serve all students and staff as we grow and learn together.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Art Education from East Carolina University. I'm also a proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro with a masters' degree in school administration. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid reader who enjoys exploring educational literature and delving into the art of teaching reading. I am also a visual artist, creating collage paintings using mixed-media materials.

In addition to my professional and artistic pursuits, I am a devoted parent to four beautiful children. I also enjoy the thrill of watching action movies featuring Superheroes, adding an element of excitement to my diverse range of interests.

I am looking forward to collaborating with the students, staff, and the community at Southern Guilford High School, eager to contribute to the school’s growth and success.
