• The Logistics program at Western is made up of multiple courses that the students can take:

    • Honors Logistics I - a basic course in "Warehousing and Distribution"

    • Honors Logistics II - a college level course aimed at earning a Global Logistics Associate (GLA) certification from APICS. This course introduces the students to Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts.

    • Honors Advanced Warehousing and Distribution - a more advanced and in depth course in logistics and warehousing

    • Honors Logistics Operations - focuses on effective and efficient operations on logistics

All courses can also be taken as "Co-op", which makes the course worth 2 high school credits. To meet the requirements for Co-op, the student must have a job that is approved by the instructor for the length of the course. The student will take and complete all coursework and also earn passing grades on his/her work evaluations done by the supervisor. Students are required to submit regular reports to the teacher during the school year and the teacher will be checking in on the student's workplace.
